Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park at DeKalb Memorial Park ~ This is a World War I memorial, originally dedicated in 1921. One of the city's murals is also located here. You will also find one of the 16 Illinois Lincoln Highway interpretive gazebos and interpretive murals here. In August, DeKalb hosts the annual Corn Fest. The festival celebrates corn as one of the top crops produced within the DeKalb area and features, live music, races, historical tours, and much more!
